New Destinations For 2024

Dec 21, 2023 | Morocco, News & Events, Philippines, South Korea

To welcome in the New Year, we’ve launched 3 new tours from 3 trending destinations for you to travel to in 2024. We invite you to discover South Korea, the Philippines East and Morocco;  where we will take our transformational travels even further. Our latest destinations offer a charm of their own where we’ve created the itinerary to give our travellers culturally rich experiences with activities that take you off on a track adventure with each day being a day like no other. We place our values at the heart of these tours, and our carefully designed tours are vastly different from one another – all special for their own reasons. We’re ready to take you in for the full experience.

Where Traditional and Modern South Korea Intertwine

Known for its moving technology, South Korea is run by cutting-edge technology where the country strives on modernity. However, despite its advancements, tradition and culture still runs deep in South Korea. One of the activities that we are excited to introduce to our travellers is the Kpop dance class that is taught by an experienced choreographer. The superstars in the making will even get the chance to record their own Kpop dance video. In the past few decades, Kpop culture has boomed, so we just couldn’t pass on the opportunity to include it in our itinerary.

Another key highlight of our 10 and 13-day itinerary is the Geumsansa Temple stay in the mountainous area outside of the bustling city of Seoul. Our travellers will have the opportunity to wind down and experience the singing bowl meditation, prayer chanting and have philosophical conversations with a monk. Those extending their trip on the 13-day itinerary will head to South Korea’s hidden gem, Jeju Island. Not only known for its natural beauty but it is also recognised as 3 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Our itinerary consists of the Olle Trail hike, a visit to a 23-metre-high waterfall called Jeongbang, and the Manjanggul lava tubes which feature an amazing rock formation.

Gear up and jump on the Squid Game trending destination before it gets too popular and join our brand new tours from March 2024. Our South Korea tour is also a part of our combined trips package with Japan. We offer travellers the opportunity to experience more with us while being able to save. Our Japan tour is amongst one of our popular tour destinations ranging from 3 different trip durations winning #1 best tour in the world in 2019. Who wouldn’t be keen to take a nearby flight and hop on to your next adventure?

Forage Through 4 Islands in the Philippines East

The Philippines is where it all began for One Life Adventures in 2016. In 2024, we’re adding another unique tour to our list, this time exploring the Philippines East. Due to its extensive culture, we just couldn’t resist launching and showing our travellers all the other gems that the Philippines has to offer. What makes our 10-day Philippines Easttour so amazing is just how much more the Philippines could offer. It is truly a gem.

We start our journey from Cebu and finish in Boracay island. On our 10-day tour, we will hop in between 4 different islands, which will excite those adventure-seeking travellers. Particularly for our ocean lovers, we’ve included a breathtaking snorkel through the sardine run of Moalboal Run as a must-do on the itinerary where you will experience what it’s like to be surrounded by millions of sardines. It is truly a surreal experience that will give our travellers a profound appreciation for the ocean and why we must protect our surrounding environment.

It is not a One Life Adventures tour without learning a little more about the culture. As we visit the white sand and pristine beaches of the island of Boracay, our travellers will get a deeper feel of what it means to be a Filipino. On our cultural day, our travellers will have the opportunity to learn first-hand from a native Caticlan about the traditional ways of living followed by a locally made lunch. Boracay Island is truly a cult classic and a dream destination for many. Kayak or lay back on the endless white sand beach and end your day with a sunset drink.

With 18 activities, stay and transport included on the trip, our travellers will not need to worry about the hidden costs while hopping between the islands. Our tours aren’t only consisting of sandy beaches as we will be heading to the countryside of Bohol where we visit the panoramic views of the Chocolate Hills. In addition to that, we will get to check out the Mahogany Man-made Forest. It is known for its dense forestry and is often used for filming movies in the Philippines. If you’ve already been on our award-winning Philippines tour, now is the time to explore a different side of the beautiful tropical country.

A Cultural Blend Of Morocco

Our final destination, Morocco, is a stark contrast to our other two new tours. Closely interlinked with Arabian, African and European influences, Morocco offers a universal experience of cultures. A striking example of this would be the architecture as it is difficult not to take notice of the mesmerising mosaic-designed mud brick-made buildings. Our 11-day itinerary will take our travellers to a different world of the desert life up in Northern Africa. It is an adventure of exploring the Marrakech markets, camel riding and sand boarding in the Saharan desert. After days in the desert, we will take you to the seaside town of Essaouira to devour some of the freshest seafood for lunch before heading to the best surf spot in Morocco.

A trip to Morocco isn’t complete without a visit to the Rissani market (souks). It is a place where many start their day as they shop within 600 stalls selling a variety of fresh produce, livestock and even souvenirs for travellers to bring home to their loved ones. Our travellers will experience true Moroccan culture through a cooking class with a local family as we learn the recipe for 3 signature dishes home to Morocco. Travellers will also taste delicious traditional Moroccan mint tea called the Berber whiskey. It represents a gesture of friendship, treated as the ‘water of life’ and is a national treasure to their people. What a perfect time to form new friendships amongst the locals and strengthen the bond of friendships made amongst other travellers on tour.

Our travellers will get to settle down in a Riad to dive right in to get the full Morrocan escapade. To wrap up the full experience, we’ve included a desert camp as part of the adventure. After a fun-packed day of visiting the Dades Valley, Todra Gorge and exploring the desert, our travellers will end their day to a desert sunset and bonfire under the stars as we listen to traditional music performed by the local Berbers. Be the first to join in on the remarkable journey of our newly launched destination beyond Asia.
