Hi, I’m Abena aka Travelling Tuesdays! Over the past five years, I’ve explored more than 40 countries and shared my journeys online to inspire confidence, curiosity and connection through travel. What I’ve loved most isn’t just the places—it’s the people, the conversations and the community that travel creates.

Seven days across South Korea, from Seoul’s palaces to Busan’s coast. Watch the Changing of the Guard at Gyeongbokgung Palace, wander Bukchon Hanok Village in a hanbok, and taste your way through Gwangjang Market with a local guide. Stand at the DMZ and hear directly from a North Korean defector. Then head to Busan for cable cars, markets, and a karaoke night with Abena.

The capital of South Korea is the perfect place to begin your Korean adventure. Whether you’re joining us for the first time in South Korea or continuing on from the Japan tour, you’ll meet your group in the vibrant Myeongdong district before enjoying your first Korean meal together at the included welcome dinner.

Seven days across Japan, hosted by Travelling Tuesdays. Start in Tokyo with a private sushi making class and an evening at TeamLab Planets, then take the bullet train to Kyoto to walk the red gates of Fushimi Inari before dawn, visit Kiyomizu-dera, and dress in a kimono for a traditional tea ceremony. Wander Gion in search of geisha, cycle through the Arashiyama bamboo forest, and finish in Osaka with a farewell dinner and karaoke with the group. Along the way you'll ride the shinkansen past Mount Fuji, explore centuries-old temples and shrines, and eat your way through some of the best food in the country.
